HMS Plymouth

According to reports last week HMS Plymouth has been sold for scrap.
Nothing short of scandalous IMHO, is there nothing that can be done?

Consecutive Council's have neglected Plymouth's maritime history. HMS Plymouth is the ideal opportunity to build a maritime attraction. If this was coupled with a decommissioned nuclear submarine and a shoreside heritage museum, it would make a great attraction.

Tory and Labour councillors should be hanging their heads in shame.

Can a berth be found in Plymouth? If not, I fear an important part of our national history will be lost.

Interesting quote :- "No berth, no project." Is it just me, or is it unbelievable that Plymouth has no space to berth a ship?
