136548 Gunner George Stanley Shipley, 235th Anti Aircraft Section, Royal Garrison Artillery, died of wounds on 17 February 1919 aged 21 years.

48599 L/Cpl Ernest Percival Shipley, 5th Bn Royal Berk. Regt, died of wounds on 5 March 1919 aged 19 years. Ernest was posthumously awarded the Military Medal on 22 July 1919.

Brothers George and Ernest were the youngest sons of the late Samuel (d.1915) an iron turner originally from Gainsborough Lincs, and Elizabeth Shipley, originally from Stockton on Tees, Durham and the family lived at Radford Road, West Hoe, Plymouth.
Both brothers buried at Efford Cemetery, Plymouth.
